So, the sweet spot time frame for that perfect newborn squishiness is within their first 10 days of arrival. Of course, birth isn't usually a planned event SO, if you can, try to get in touch at around 30 weeks in your pregnancy. We will set a tentative date for around 8 days after your due date & once your baby is officially here we can confirm or adjust our date as needed!

Anywhere! No really! Where ever is easiest and most convenient for you and your family. I usually host newborn sessions indoors but I only use natural lighting (no house lights or artificial lighting). So, if we are indoors as long as I have about a 6'x6' space to set up near a large window or sliding door, I just use the sunlight that comes through! Session location options include (but are not limited to); your home, my home, outdoors or a family members home!

Nope. I will literally bring every. single. item. we need. I have wraps of all colors and textures. I have baskets and beds and bowls. I have outfits and headbands and I even have flooring options. During our session planning we will talk about colors you like and ones you want to avoid and if you happen to have special blankets or sentimental items incorporated into our session I will do my best to make that happen as well.

Totally doable. My newborn sessions are extremely flexible and very go with the flow. Lets be real the first few weeks its baby's world, we just live here. So, as long as your little one is content we will get the content (see what I did there).

Typically I will try to have around 3 flexible setups ready to go when I start our session. From those setups I will incorporate several different wraps and poses offering variety without too much major movement. The key to content is making sure baby is content (did it again). Before our session I will provide you with tips to help provide a smooth flow, hopefully resulting in a ton of adorable captures.

For newborn sessions I try to guarantee around 30 portraits in your gallery. This will include close ups of details and some black and white edits. The number of portraits delivered largely depends on how baby does during our session. I am known to be a wonder with babies so I can confidently say I am usually able to deliver a few more than 30 pictures in your gallery! But if for whatever reason things do go very sour, I do offer makeups and discounts for future sessions.
